The must-see places

Every Prague visitor should see the following interesting places, all located in a walking distance from the historical city center.

Charles Bridge

The second oldest and by far the most popular stone bridge in the Czech Republic, built by King Charles IV. It is decorated by numerous statues that give it a unique atmosphere.

Prague Castle

The Prague Castle, the Czech President's residence is the most full-time inhabited castle complex in the world. Its most dominant building is the St. Vitus Church built in the gothic style.

Old Town Square

The Old-Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí) is the very center of the Prague old town. It’s dominated by the Church of Our Lady before Týn, a Gothic church built in 14th century, and an astronomical clock.

Wenceslas Square

A 750 meters long boulevard, located between the National museum building and the border of the old town.
